Deputy Director of Finance recruitment
One if my public sector clients is currently looking for a Deputy Director of Finance to join their team in Glasgow for a 3 month contract.
The renumeration is £45k p/a pro rata. Also a permanent role may be available due to a restructure in the team.
The role is split into two sections and depending on your experience will change the responsbilities you will have. There is both a management accounts Dep FD and a Financial Services and Projects Dep FD.
You will be a full member of the senior management team and be sharing corporate responsibility for the effective operation of the development strategy for the company.
Key Requirements:
- You will need to be available immediately
- You will be a fully qualified accountant (CIMA, CIPFA, ACCA, ICAS)
- Have a desire to work in the public sector or have public sector experience
- Have the ability to obtain a standard disclosure scotland within three weeks.
- Have 5 years experience in senior management
- Have management experience and be willing to manage a team of 5+
