Work for a leading not for profit organisation that provides a wide range of health and community services throughout NSW and Queensland.
Their Aged Care Facilities provide a caring environment that is important to the well-being of senior members of our community and their families.
They seek a highly experienced Care Manager (DDON) or a Senior Registered Nurse, will supplementary skills and experience in aged care for their 91 bed facility set amongst beautifully landscaped gardens. It accommodates both Low Care, High Care and has respite beds.
You will be responsible for the co-ordination and management of high quality nursing and personal care, including appropriate staffing, budget control, workplace safety and quality improvement.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the Director of Nursing to provide top notch effective clinical and operational management of the residential care services
- Taking a hands on role assisting the DON to direct, supervise and support care staff
- Ensuring our clients missions, values and goals of the village organisation are met and exceeded
Essential requirements for the role:
- Current AHPRA - Nurse Registration
- Tertiary qualifications in geriatric nursing and/or demonstrated competence in that field.
- High level competence in the provision of nursing and clinical skills within a nursing environment,
- Demonstrated comprehensive high level knowledge of the health and Aged Care sectors.
- Comprehensive knowledge experience in co-ordinating a flexible, multi-skilled team environment with advanced interpersonal, communication and customer skills
