The Deputy Director, Commercial Defense will be responsible for: Leading and mentoring a team of Commercial Officers responsible for relationships with Rolls-Royce Defense original equipment manufacturers, air framers, and government agencies Reviewing, drafting, and submitting proposals for Research and Development (RD) to U.S. Government agencies and commercial customers Administering awarded contracts and executed agreements Acting as the point of contact with customer contracting personnel for major pursuits and contracts Ensuring compliance with internal strategies and business decisions, policies and processes Assisting in the protection of company intellectual property (IP) by negotiating nondisclosure agreements and instructing company personnel on protecting IP Rolls-Royce has a broad customer base comprising 600 airlines, 4,000 corporate and utility aircraft and helicopter operators, 160 armed forces, more than 2,000 marine customers including 70 navies, and energy customers in 120 countries.
