Deputy Division Manager (Job Number:301404) Description: The Cyber Analysis Security Division currently has an opening for a Deputy Division Manager. This Division is a $45M+ organization comprised of over 75+ engineers, scientists, program support staff and administrative personnel performing research, development, and engineering for a wide variety of software development and processing systems related to National Security. The Deputy Division Manager role is expected to be 50% direct and 50% indirect position, with direct involvement in the Divisions work/programs. JOB DESCRIPTION: The position reports directly to the Division Manager, and will work closely with Division Program Managers, Operations Management Team, and Business Unit functional support staff to provide leadership, vision, and strategic direction. Responsibilities include: - Supporting the Division Manager in planning, coordinating and executing the day to day operations of the Division, - Ensuring a high level of program performance and execution for each contract within the division to include maximizing net fees and customer satisfaction, - Coordinating with Division and Operations Business Development staff to prioritize, instantiate and monitor the capture process and participate on assigned proposal efforts, - Aassuring the Division's Program Managers maintain prescribed financial controls; - Monitoring metrics, assisting in meeting all operation performance goals; - Creating and maintaining an environment conducive to the professional growth and development of the staff, and leading recruitment and retention efforts for the Division. Qualifications: REQUIRED EDUCATION: Bachelors degree is required, in engineering, mathematics, computer science, or other technical area allied with the operations technical proficiencies. Masters degree in a related area is desired. CLEARANCE: Applicants must hold a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph at time of application. REQUIRED SKILLS: Must have 12 years of relevant work experience Must have 6 years experience leading and managing technical teams Must be knowledgeable of SAIC policies and procedures Experience managing programs and/or budgets of M or more Previous supervisory experience managing professional staff Must be able to work in a multi-tasking environment Must be able to work well with personnel and comfortable speaking to individuals about personnel issues Ability to effectively communicate in person and in writing, and be able to speak publicly Desire and ability to mentor, lead and work with people Solid record of success in areas relevant to the Divisions business areas including business development and program execution Experience identifying, interviewing and recruiting individuals to the Division Possess high energy, attention to detail, and the ability to organize effectively Must be able to effectively communicate and work with support organizations including Contracts, Finance, Human Resources, and Security as well as with SAIC Project Managers and SAIC customers SAIC Overview:
