Deputy Finance & Administration Manager

We are looking for a talented Deputy Finance Administration Manager who is seeking a stimulating and rewarding career opportunity with a highly profitable South West Wales Top 100 business.
The Role
This newly created business-focussed role will involve:
· Assisting the Finance Administration Manager in the day to day running of the department and acting as his Deputy
· Assisting in providing key business focussed controller services, identifying opportunities for improvement and adding value
· Working closely with operational management to provide critical support on costings and budgets and assist in identifying / achieving cost savings
· Proactively leading teams focused on performance improvement develop and maintain associated business KPI’s
· Developing systems to deliver high quality management support with a key focus on profitability through business modelling and Net Working Capital control
· Responsibility for coordinating implementing important Group financial projects and initiatives including the assessment implementation of Activity Based Costing
· Assisting in and often leading the compilation of business cases for investments and growth initiatives
· Developing and maintaining systems to gather and report all categories of business KPI and managing this process to ensure continuous performance improvement.
Your Profile
The successful candidate should:
· Possess previous experience of financial management and accounting in a medium to large commercial company
· Be full or part qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA with at least 3 to 5 years experience in a similar role
· Have a broad knowledge of financial systems plus financial modelling experience
· Have experience of evaluating, coordinating and communicating management accounts and key business information
· Any project management and business improvement initiatives experience would be desirable
· Demonstrate first class interpersonal skills, a flair for team playing, drive, enthusiasm and a desire to be highly successful
