Deputy Head, Commodity Finance Origination, Singapore & SE Asia Focus
Job Specifications:
To maintain relationships with exisitng trade customers and acquire new accounts of the entire spectrum of commodities flow in Singapore and across Asia Pacific region.
To assist the Head of Commodity Finance, Asia pacific in developing business strategies and to structure innovative solutions
To work closely with RM in necessary visits to customers and structure commodity finance solutions according to the needs of customers.
To promote product innovation in compliance with the regulatory requirement of MAS.
To help build the bank’s organizational structure of commodity finance section.
To cooperate with the investment banking section to do commodity finance, with hedging over the underlying commodity.
To do research and issue industrial reports periodically as the reference for making the business decisions.
To offer help in the training of relevant staff.
Requirements :
- At least 5 years and above relevant working experience in same job scope.
- Familiar with commodity finance products, operational system and multiple industries practices.
- Knowledge of UCP 600, URC, ISBP, URDG and knowledge of commodity trading would be an added advantage.
- Ability to multi-task and work within timelines.
- Excellent team player with good communication and problem solving skills.
- Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese language in spoken form so as to better service Chinese customers and counter-parties.
