Deputy Head of Compliance
A well-regarded European Investment Bank is looking for a Deputy Head of Compliance. The bank is a household name across Europe, Asia and the US, albeit with a smaller London presence.
The role itself is as Deputy Head of Compliance, leading a team of 2 responsible for all conduct work in the compliance department. You will be lending advice to the business across the bank on all product lines, as well as managing the strategic work of the compliance department in terms of regulatory developments, policies procedures and the compliance plan.
Candidates must have previous Investment Banking compliance experience, due to the senior nature of the role. Solid understanding of banking products and the associated regulatory frameworks is also necessary. Candidates must also be comfortable with shouldering responsibility for long term strategic work relating to the compliance department and also managing a team.
This is an exciting opportunity for candidates who are prepared to shoulder responsibility, however, this autonomy is not to discredit the warm and collaborative team spirit that runs through the compliance department.
