Deputy Head of IT Audit recruitment
The role:
As number 2 to the bank’s Head of IT Audit you will be expected to deputize for him on a daily basis as well as assume full responsibility in his absence.
Manage and direct the IT audit function to provide informed and independent assurance to senior management in regard to the bank’s internal controls.
Assess the effectiveness of the technology risk management process and the IT control environment.
Assist the department head to develop strategic plans and objectives.
Formulate IT and personal banking audit strategies
Direct and allocate IT and personal banking audit resources to ensure completion of audit plans.
Provide advisory support on internal control matters relating to IT projects.
Develop and maintain a professional audit team in meeting international professional auditing standards.
Requirements:
At least 10 years of IT audit experience in financial institutions or public accounting firms with at least 5 years management experience.
Professional membership of any of the following: CISA/CISSP/CIA/CPA
Fluency in English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
Undergraduate, or higher, degree in Information Technology, Accounting or relevant disciplines.
Strong management, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong IT audit experience with good understanding of banking products, operations and regulatory requirements.
Independent, self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
