Deputy Head of Strategy & Planning, Corporate Banking Risk recruitment
Strategy Planning is responsible for delivering solutions to support the effective operation of Corporate Banking Risk (CBR) within the Royal Bank of Scotland Group. Our key activities include Finance, Governance, Learning Development, People and Communications. The team leads the development and maintenance of the Strategic Planning framework for Corporate Banking Division (CBD) Risk, which involves management of the CBD Risk Strategic Plan, engagement with CBD Strategy teams, CBD Risk Board and One Risk, as well as oversight of supporting operational plans. They drive and engage in strategic projects and bespoke initiatives within and external to Corporate Banking Risk.
You will develop and manage a robust strategic planning framework by driving an effective and efficient planning cycle. To do this you will gain regular engagement with the CBR Risk Board and have accountability and oversight of the CBR annual operating plan. You will be expected to provide guidance to all areas across CBR relating to the CBR Strategic Plan and planning process.
Naturally you will display effective communication and influencing skills ideally with previous experience of liaising with Executive level stakeholders within a multi-division aligned business. Knowledge of risk management in the Financial Services environment is desirable but prior experience of managing the implementation and tracking of strategic programmes will take priority.
