Responsibities:
Responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring the movement of material through the production cycle. Determines quantity and order date for materials to meet production schedule, initiate purchase or production requisitions, and develops schedule to be used in production facility based on forecasts and historical analysis. May be involved in selecting and negotiating with approved vendors. Determines material requirements from engineering and production schedules. Coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production, and engineering. Develops specifications for new contract orders. Develops forecasts and plans for labor requirements.
Requirement:
- Review open orders,generate and release master production schedule
- Review and monitor the inventory status and keep tab over inventory as per the set target
- Daily review of open sales orders in the plant and ensure delivery schedule
- Expedite/Push out component delivery schedules as necessary to meet production schedule
- Liase with sales / customer support on sales order status updates
- Managing the ware house activities
- Creation of decision support reports for KPIs for planning and purchasing functions to improve efficiency of Supply Chain function
- Coordinating with Production department to understand the materials requirement and to manage inventory.
- Contribute to improve material productivity by implementing strategies and cost saving activities
- Continuously drive to improve payment terms with the vendor and liase with finance to clear invoice error logs
- Handling Recruiting the manpower
Education: BE / Diploma - Mechanical
Experience: 4 - 10 Years
