Deputy Under Treasurer
An opportunity has become available for a Deputy Under Treasurer to join the leadership team within Queensland Treasury and Trade (QTT). As the principal source of fiscal and economic advice to the Queensland Government, this Department is pivotal to achieving the ongoing fiscal goals of the State under the Charter of Fiscal Responsibility.
As the Deputy Under Treasurer, you will lead the Economic and Structural Policy division encompassing microeconomics and structural reform, insurance, statistics and intergovernmental relations. Your leadership will
provide essential economic and demographic research and advice to support the Government’s regulatory and structural reform programs. You will add value to the overall agenda by partnering with business groups and across Government departments and sectors.
You will have proven ability to navigate a large complex organisation and drive a reform agenda whilst engaging the expertise of your team. Using your dynamic leadership skills you will build transparent and productive relationships with stakeholder groups to further promote both the fiscal goals and the value added by your division and QTT.
