Derivatives Administrator recruitment

Ensure accurate and timely delivery of Derivatives Reporting, and for ensuring accuracy and appropriateness of accounting for derivatives and portfolio performance.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage back office support for the clients Derivatives portfolio.
* Including Trades Processing, Trades Settlements and Reconciliation.
* Ensure accurate and timely delivery of Derivatives Reporting, and to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of accounting for Derivatives, performance and exposure analysis.
* Accounting functions including control and updating the general ledger, appropriate review and reconciliations.
* Monitor net cash flows for derivatives.
* Calculate MTM for all open positions and posting to respective reporting platforms.
* Verify terms and details of Derivatives products including Forwards, Futures, Options and Swaps.
* Generate derivative reports for the Fund Accounting  and Custody Reporting groups.

Client Service
* Deliver quality customer service through timely and accurate report delivery.
* Participate in maintaining up to date Client Desk Operating Procedures.
* Goals for clients with prompt responses to service issues or queries in a professional manner that consistently exceeds clients' expectations.
* Maintain client’s on site reports in an organized manner (i.e. Ensure that all daily valuations are accounted for each fund, for each month)

Who we're looking for:
* Must have experience working with derivatives
* Working knowledge of GAAP.
* Canadian Securities Course.
* Fundamentally strong leadership, organizational, time management, communication and interpersonal skills.
* Derivatives Fundamental Course or enrollment in CFA program an asset.
* Accounting designation or enrollment in the CGA/CMA program is an asset.
