Derivatives Clearing Analyst

Our client, a leading financial services provider, currently seeks a Derivatives Clearing Analyst, to be based in London

The Derivatives Clearing Analyst will be responsible for:

-Clearing of all Credit Rates products to all eligible CCPs in line with mandatory regulations

-Active management of all CCP margins on a daily basis, and working closely with CEM and Front Office to keep margins at an acceptable level

-Working closely with other Operation functions and other infrastructure groups to support a 'one team approach'.

-Ensuring appropriate escalation of risks and achievements to management.

-Supporting and aiding the production of MIS on a weekly basis.

As such, the successful Derivatives Clearing Analyst will have the following skills and experience:

-Good understanding of the Credit and Rates clearing and compression processes

-Understanding of risk and PL for Credit and Rates

-Have a good knowledge of the front to back Operations process

-Must be fluent with MarkitWire, and being able to understand the importance and impact of MarkitWire eligible trades to the In House Systems and to our customers.

-Knowledge of Excel and Access Databases preferred

-Previous experience of executing TriOptima cycles and bilateral portfolio compressions ideal
