MISSION
- Located in the dealing room of BIL, you will contribute to the set up and development of an interest rate derivatives desk to support the other business lines within TFM and the bank..
- Furthermore you will be involved in a wide variety of non-recurrent market activities when opportunities arise and/or when there’s a need from the bank.
- Quote prices for interest rate derivatives on request as unique market access point in the bank.
ACTIVITIES
- Quote prices for interest rate derivatives on request as unique market access point in the bank.
- Hedge exposure with external market counterparties via back-to-back transactions.
- Make proposals, and ensure smooth execution, input and post transactional follow up of deals.
- Product range: IRS, FRA, Cap, Floor, Collar …
- Targeted clients: in-house (bonds trading, BSM, CLM, institutional sales, other business lines than TFM) and external (direct access for some corporate customers or small banks).
- Manage relationships with market counterparties and customers.
- Support the whole Financial Engineering team in executing occasional projects like:
- Bonds origination/syndication
- Alternative funding solutions
- Sale of distressed debt and illiquid assets
- Tax optimization deals for external customers and for the bank itself
- Management of the SPV Taranis Securities SA
SKILLS
Education
- Bac +3/5 with an economical/financial orientation, or equivalent
- Experience in derivatives or in money markets is an advantage
Languages
- French and English fluent (oral and writing)
- The knowledge of any other language will be considered as an advantage
Specific knowledge
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Power Point and Access, general ease in using IT tools
- Kondor+, Bloomberg and/or Reuters knowledge can be considered as an advantage
