Derivatives Project Manager required by global asset management firm based in Chicago
Responsibilities
· Manage delivery of agreed project scope within the defined timelines, budgets quality
· Ensure that project execution is in compliance with company policies and standards
· Provide end to end project management expertise for multiple projects
· Establish clear, concise and objective management reporting on progress, status, issues and risks
· Actively monitor budget and cost controls across all projects
· Escalate conflicts and deviations to senior Management with proposed solutions
Key skills
· Extensive OTC system knowledge
· Ability to interact with the front office
· Understanding of investment strategies using Derivatives
· Knowledge of the regulations impacting derivatives. In particular, Dodd Frank, EMIR and Central Clearing
· Experienced project manager able to solution complex requirements
· Experience of running derivative operation teams within the asset management industry
· Collateral Management experience
· Expert knowledge of trade processing Settlements
· Understanding of Interest Rate Swaps (IRS)
Salary: $150,000 + strong bonus benefits package
