Derivatives Sales Manager recruitment

Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President, as Head of Buy Side Relations you will be responsible for actively developing, managing, and supporting the buy-side customer portfolio in North America. You will be required to analyze and develop market potential, as well as build relationships with existing clients while overseeing the recruitment of new clients. You will also be asked to develop business development concepts for existing and new products and direct the sales activities in the U.S. and other regions of responsibility in close cooperation with other business departments and the Executive Vice President. You will oversee a team of very experienced individuals in both our New York and Chicago Offices.

•Minimum of 10+ years of successful client-facing/sales and managerial experience in the futures, securities or financial services industry. An advanced academic degree (MBA or PhD) is a plus
•Proven experience driving business development and innovation as well as strong leadership skills in multinational/multicultural environments
•In depth knowledge of derivatives products and markets and excellent understanding of the asset management business of buy-side institutions (pension funds, CTAs, hedge funds, etc.)
•Excellent understanding of the back-office and clearing operations of global financial institutions
•In depth understanding of the latest changes to the U.S. regulatory landscape, its potential impact on the business models and structures that are currently used by buy side institutions and the trends towards centralized clearing for OTC traded derivatives
•Established relationships with institutional investors and other industry participants active in the OTC swaps marketplace throughout the western hemisphere is a plus
