Derivatives Trade Support recruitment
Ths role is working as part of a small team, responsible for the reconciliation of derivative positions traded on exchange. Ensuring that discrepancies are resolved in a timely and accurate manner, in line with the business transaction procedures, covering all exchange traded products.
Main responsibilities
- Process derivative transactions through to completion within the performance standards set out in the business transaction procedures
- To reconcile and report on all Profit Centre and derivative specific records within the set performance standards. Actively monitoring and clearing all open exceptions within set timeframes
- To provide management information statistics in accordance with departmental requirements
- To monitor and review all derivative specific standing data ensuring that all products are correctly defined and that fees applied to derivatives based systems are accurate and correct.
- To monitor and review all derivative processes as to suggest enhancements to current procedures, controls and contingencies
- Ensure that all clearing and execution fees are validated and processed in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all 'out trades' are recorded on the appropriate spreadsheet and that an incident report is written up and circulated to Middle Office Management as appropriate.
- Ensure that all risk items are prioritised
Experience required
- Strong quantitative skills, with an emphasis on performing complex, recurring reconciliations, accounting training a significant plus.
- Experience in exchange cleared products/processes
- Experience in dealing with outside service providers in a professional manner, ensuring excellent service levels at all times
