JOB TITLE:               Design Administration Assistant

LOCATION:              Blackwell, Derbyshire

SALARY:                  £17-£20K DOE

DURATION:             Permanent

 

OVERVIEW OF ROLE:

Working within an integrated Alliance project delivery team, the position is responsible for providing general administrative assistance to the Design and Survey Departments on the project in the preparation of a full range administrative duties in preparing gas distribution projects.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Process documents and maintain accurate departmental information

·         Provide administrative support and assistance in order to ensure the Design Survey Teams operate in an efficient and effective manner

·         Resolve enquiries from internal and external parties and act as first point of contact for general telephone queries to the team

·         Receive, process, compile and provide information to support project design, initiation and survey, with particular emphasis on project initiation and CDM

·         Input and maintain electronic and paper filing systems

·         Data manipulation and low level data analysis

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

·         Significant knowledge and experience of office practices

·         Experienced in the use of Microsoft systems including Excel, Word, and Access

·         Keen eye for detail delivering high levels of accuracy

·         Experienced at prioritising workload and supporting teams to produce results in a timely manner to meet business needs

·         Experience in dealing with all levels within the organisation

·         A self motivated individual who takes pride in their work with excellent and varied communication skills.
