No Security Clearance Required about security clearance definitions Position Description Engineer is responsible for the installation and integration of electrical equipment and wiring into 787 seats. Job requires review of seat supplier electrical installation technical data. Responsibility also includes the technical data review of seat supplier functional test procedures which may involve some on-site test witnessing. Engineer must have good organization and oral communication skills to support electrical equipment discussions at major milestone design meetings involving the airlines, seat supplier, electrical equipment suppliers and Boeing supplier Management. Some domestic and international travel required. B.S. of Electrical Engineering or Computer Science is preferred. Typical Education/Experience Level 2 - Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 2 or more years experience or a Master's degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Level 3 - Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 5 or more years experience, Master's degree with 3 or more years experience or PhD degree with experience.
