Design and Project Engineering Program for Recent Graduates
Fetterolf Corporation is a leading global supplier of valves to the chemical, pharmaceutical, oil, gas and petrochemical industries, based in Skippack, PA. We currently have an opening for an a recently graduated (last 2 years) or to graduate mechanical engineer. The successful applicants will be offered a full time position with full company benefits. The engineering program operates as follows
+Upon joining the candidate spends 6-9 months in the Project engineering Group learning about the companies' products, systems and processes and looking after a group of customers. The key activities in this role include, reviewing technical specifications, understanding technical requirements, pricing, project tracking and analysis
+The second phase of the program is a 2-3 month visit to one of the global SchuF Fetterolf design and production sites (in Germany, Brazil, India or Ireland) for further training
+The third phase is in the Design engineering Group, where the candidate will work on valve designs using CAD programs and other engineering calculation software.
+The final 3 months will be spend in manufacturing as a production engineer
At the end of an engineering program, the candidate will continue in full time employment and can express their preference for one of the three roles experienced in the program, best suited to their skills and experience.
Applicants should have a good degree in Engineering (mechanical preferred) or valve engineering experience. Experience with project planning software (e.g. MS project or similar) and CAD/CAM software would be advantageous and work experience in an industrial manufacturing or design company is beneficial. The person should be detail oriented, but enjoy working in a collegial team atmosphere.
