Position Overview:
Key Accountabilities:
- New Product Design and Product Specification:
- Project Management for New Product Projects – track and report project status
- Rapidly build prototype inductor and transformer samples for customer evaluation.
- Product Test and Qualification
- Process and Tool Development
- Pilot Line and Manufacturing Scale-Up of New Products
- New Product Introduction
- Technical Product Support and Failure Analysis for the factory and customers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- B.S. degree required in electrical engineering, application electronics, or related discipline.
- Magnetics background with 5+ years design experience in electronic switching power management design, LAN, Telecom, or RF.
- Familiar with power electronics topology.
- Knowledge of electronic power circuitry, terminology, and applications required.
- Experience using FEA modeling software (Ansoft, Ansys, Comsol, Flux2D/3D, etc.), as well as analysis software tools such as Mathcard or Pspice.
- Familiar with power magnetic manufacturing.
- Familiar with AutoCAD (or other mechanical CAD software).
- Self starter and ability to work independently in a team environment.
- Mandarin proficiency a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills required.
