Lead Engineer Control Systems #3286 – position is responsible for delivering control system designs as part of a global development team, including HW and SW architecture, component selections, system functional specifications and system integration to Boart Longyear drill products. The role will participate in strategic planning and will establish, develop and maintain control system release roadmaps in conjunction with the drill rig offering and product development strategies. Responsibilities will include project management and team lead duties in the area of control system development, as well as evaluation, selection and close co-operation of suppliers for HW/SW where required. The position requires excellent technical skills in the area of equipment control systems, along with organizational and leadership skills.
Testing Engineer #3292 – position is responsible for delivering control systems for Boart Longyear drill products as part of a global development team, focusing on system testing and equipment control system integration. This position is expected to be the system testing specialist for control systems, interfacing with electrical and hydraulic control systems. Responsibilities will also include evaluation, selection and close co-operation of suppliers for HW/SW, where required. The position requires excellent technical skills in the area of equipment control systems, along with good organizational skills.

The position requires excellent technical skills in heavy equipment design engineering, including mechanical, hydraulic and electrical control system design. Experience of heavy equipment manufacturing and fabrication techniques will be required.
