Our Propulsion Controls Division in Plymouth, MN has an excellent opportunity for a Design Engineer whose duties and required experience are described below. Responsibilities: - Function as Product and/or System Engineering IPT Lead for several fuze design programs. - Design safety and arming circuit requirements and architectures. - Design Fuze ESAD requirements and architectures. - Design environmental detection sensors and control electronics. - Design fuze initiation systems. - Develop electronics technology requirements for current and future fuzes - Apply technical knowledge of the effects of processing and testing on the electronics reliability of fuzes. - Participate in internal reviews of fuze design, design changes, material review, and new product test protocols, etc. Participation may include serving as chair on one or more review committees. Requirements: - BS in Electrical Engineering is required. - Ability to acquire DoD Secret Clearance which requires US Citizenship as a pre-requisite - At least 4 years experience, which must include design of electronic circuits for use in harsh environments. Some experience with fuze technology is desirable. - Some exposure to high voltage electronics is highly desirable. - Ability to take lead role in design and qualification of electronics boards.
