A stable, growing manufacturing company in the greater Atlanta area is seeking to add a stellar Engineer to their team! Summary: This Engineer will be responsible for designing and estimating piping systems for customer quotations, from site surveys to in-house bills of material and fabrication drawings. Essential Responsibilities and Duties: 1) Design (gas/chemical) piping systems based on customer application and plan lay-out; 2) Estimate piping layout and determine material and installation pricing and quotations; 3) Travel to job sites to take accurate measurements of piping routes for fabrication 4) Generate bills of material and fabrication drawings for piping systems; Required Qualifications and Skills: *Minimum education: Associates degree in technical/mechanical field; Bachelor s degree in Engineering preferred *Minimum 3 years of experience within piping industry highly preferred *Working knowledge and skills in Solidworks or Inventor required *Proficiency in Work, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook *Excellent organization, mathematical, communication and interpersonal skills; *Must have strong problem-solving and customer service skills; *Requires efficiency, attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy of documentation; *Must be strong team player
