You will be working with an international mining manufacturer specialising in the underground coal mining industry. With sites across Australia and internationally this company has ample opportunity to develop your skills and gain knowledge from engineers with over 20 years experience in the industry.
To be successful within this role you will use your skills developed within the heavy industrial industries or the mining industry and complete detailed designs for customers. You will be using Inventor and be proficient with 3D design modelling to put these technical designs together efficiently.
Not only will you create the designs you will also be involved in meeting with customers on site visits, coordinating with the engineering team to schedule and plan the project. Therefore it is imperative you have excellent communication skills and innovative ideas.
To be considered for the role you need to have the following experience:
- Electrical or mechanical engineering degree or equivalent qualification
- Mining machinery understanding or heavy industrial machinery experience
- Efficient in Inventor
- Understanding of Australian industry standards and regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Great Team work
