Mechanical Design Engineers - Automation systems Special Purpose machinery
Salary: £25,000 - £55,000 (dep. on experience)
Location: Midlands based opportunities
Commuable from: Birmingham, Worcester, Warwickshire, Rugby, Leicester, Buckinghamshire, Derby
The role(s):
- To be responsible for the design (including concept) and detailing of projects allocated
- The production of all necessary drawings, from GA's to fully detailed parts drawings
- To communicate effectively to customers, suppliers and team members, and interface with the in-house manufacturing team
- To be responsible for the successful delivery of each project allocated
- To be part of a team dedicated to delivering projects to plan and to budget
Essential Skills / Experience:
- Proficiency in 3D CAD, using either Autodesk Inventor, Solidworks or Solidedge
- Experience in the design of Special Purpose machinery and / or Automation systems
- Either Degree qualified OR apprentice trained with relevant experience
Desirable Skills / Experience:
- Supervisory / Management experience
