Design Quality Engineer

A strong and growing medical device company has a need for a Senior Quality Engineer with experience in the design of class II and/or class III medical devices. They need someone with experience in design quality, manufacturing systems, process design, and validations. This is a great opportunity to join a well respected company with a good compensation plan and opportunities for advancement.
The right candidate will have experience and knowledge of design quality and quality systems such as Six Sigma, FMEA, IQ/OQ/PQ plans and documentation, process mapping, CAPA, inspection, testing, and calibrations of equipment and processes. The process involves injection molding with high cavity count, scientific molding, double shot molding, and fast cycles for devices that are further processed with coatings and assembly. This is a fast paced, high volume environment.
Medical device experience is absolutely required.
A relocation package is available for the right candidate. This position is in New Jersey.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum BS from a four year university. Advanced degrees are a plus.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a medical products environment
• Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and Kaizen skills are a big plus
• Design quality and process design experience
