Designated Trading Representative – Institutional Equities recruitment
Institutional Banking and Markets are responsible for all of the Group's activities in interest rate, bond, foreign exchange, credit, debt, equity and commodity trading. This covers both physical and derivative markets.
The Institutional Cash Equities business is part of the Institutional Equities and Debt Capital Markets group within Institutional Banking Markets. It provides equities broking services targeted at large Australian institutions (superannuation funds, insurance companies and investment managers) and Australian Corporates.
Key Accountabilities:
- Provide the DTR function within the Electronic Execution DMA team including the review and authorisation of orders, monitoring of order books.
- Provide day to day client servicing including provision of market colour and trade information as well as assistance for all execution matters.
- Assist with co-ordination of client on-boarding specifically in relation to connectivity including
- liaising with IT Support for FIX testing and connectivity to client execution venues and networks.
- Responsible for the co-ordination of Algo monitoring and troubleshooting for relevant clients.
- Contribute in the client facing co-ordination of IT changes and upgrades.
- Strong compliance and risk monitoring adhering to internal guidelines, market rules and all relevant regulations.
Qualifications/Experience required:
- Competent Designated Trading Representative (DTR)
- PS 146 Compliant
- Electronic Execution Focus understanding of FIX protocol and electronic connectivity
- Strong understanding of electronic execution including algos, crossing engines TCA.
- Equity Markets experience
- Tertiary Qualified
- Strong numerical skills
