Job Description The Kansas City Missouri office has an opening for a Designer IV to join the team. Responsibilities: Functions as the lead designer on a variety of projects. Develops solutions for a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity. Prepares preliminary task list. Produces sketches and system schematics for complicated design tasks. Incorporates design concepts from schematic design into design development to produce construction documents. Prepares addendums, change orders and additional services at Design Manager/Sr. Design Manager requests. Work is performed with minimal direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment. May oversee the work of less experienced staff. Develops details and provides input into specifications. Generally has 9+ years of experience. Requirements: Experience on all phases and aspects of medium to large scale projects required. Sports facility design experience required. Advanced knowledge of project design and construction documentation, production and construction materials. Intermediate knowledge of design production techniques including Revit (required), AutoCAD, 3D computer modeling, graphic design, and effective communication skills required. Basic word processing and spreadsheet skills. Previous supervisory experience preferred.
