This prestigious investment banking firm currently requires a Junior Equity Sales/Desk Assistant to join their Institutional Equities Sales team.
This role will see you working with a team of Institutional equity sales professionals and analyst who will mentor you in the desk assistant position as you progress into a junior equity sales specialist and hopefully through the ranks to become a high performing senior sales professional. This will be a varied and interesting position that will involve analysis, administration and liaising with stakeholders. You will be actively participating in morning meetings and client meetings where you will create desk notes.
This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a bright graduate with 95% + UAI and excellent university record, to join a prestigious firm within a dynamic team. You must be an outgoing, confident and assertive individual capable of dealing with strong personalities and building lasting relationships internally and externally. You will have excellent communication skills, a drive to succeed and a positive 'can do' attitude. Further, you will ideally have some industry exposure and be looking at developing your career in equities research, sales or trading.
