Desktop Computer Technician Job in Harris 12742, New York US
Overview
ProActive Business Solutions is building a team of Desktop Computer Technicians for an upcoming technical installation project in a hospital environment in Harris, NY 12742. The project will take place for a 16-week period beginning next week. It will involve the installation of over 150 computers and other desktop technical equipment. We are seeking Technicians with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience (see the details below).
Required Skills for this Assignment
· At least 3 years of experience:
· Previous experience with:
o Taking inventory of technical equipment.
o Asset tagging.
o Installing and bringing up new PCs.
o Installing print drivers.
o Network patching of VoIP phones.
o Documenting system problems.
· Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.
· Excellent cable management skills.
· Ability to listen and take direction immediately.
· Ability to work well under pressure on large, fast-paced projects with changing priorities.
