Desktop Service Engineer - Level 2 and Level 3 - Dublin West

My client is a leading international provider of information technology solutions and services, offering one-stop shopping for the complete IT service chain: from consulting to systems integration, right through to software engineering and IT infrastructure management. They currently require a Desktop Service Engineer Level 2 and 3.

Job Duties:
• Provide support for end user applications
• Work within an SLA
• Install new hardware and software
• First level support for server operating systems
• Assist in upcoming projects
• Complete backups successfully
• To understand and apply agreed procedures to all areas of work
• To continue to update your skills by attending training and pursuing relevant certification

Candidate Requirements:
• Ideally 2+ year demonstrated work experience in similar environment
• Experience with Microsoft Windows and office.
• Good working knowledge of Windows 2003/2008
• Understanding of IP addresses
