Full Job Description

Desktop Technical IT Support Engineer (Microsoft Windows Active Directory, Exchange, TCP/IP) required by my banking client in London. You MUST have the following experience:

-2+ years' helpdesk/desktop IT support experience
-Microsoft Windows Active Directory- setting up new users, permissions and passwords
-Microsoft Exchange/Outlook user administration- setting up mailboxes, groups and fault finding
-Excellent PC, laptop, printer, fax hardware
-Experience working in the financial sector

The following would be DESIRABLE:

-Blackberry and Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES) knowledge
-TCP/IP, DHCP networking
-Cisco VOIP telephony (Cisco Call Manager)
-Citrix
-Computer/IT Science Degree
-Microsoft/Cisco/CompTIA certifications (A+, N+, MCP, MCDST, MCSA, MCSE, MCITP, CCNA)

Role: You will be working within a team of 5 providing high level 1st and 2nd level Microsoft Windows infrastructure support for my banking client in London. Your role will range from remote (VNC, Remote Desktop) to desk side support. You will be providing support for over 1500 users on Microsoft Office 2003 and 2007. You will be involved in Active Directory and Exchange/Outlook user administration. There is a large amount of project work including the global migration of Active Directory from 2003 to 2008. You will be:

-Out-going and possess excellent customer skills
-Enthusiastic to learn and progress
-Professional

Salary: £24k- £35k + Bonus + Benefits
