Desktop Publisher (Contract) Job in Alpharetta 30004, Georgia US
Position Summary:
Scientific Games, a leading provider of lottery products and services, has an opening in its Alpharetta proposal center for a desktop publisher. This position will support proposal development in response to complex Government-issued Request for Proposals (RFPs). Responsibilities are to produce large documents that incorporate graphics, photographs, and text.
Job Description:
· Works closely with department writers and managers, company sales force, and senior management to gather all information necessary to complete the production of the RFP.
· Format and incorporate text, photographs and graphics into the standard proposal template(s).
· Maintains department electronic databases containing RFPs.
· Uploading and maintaining the final proposal PDF files to Sharepoint and granting secure access to a select group of people within the company.
· Uploading and maintaining proposal graphics database on local server and Sharepoint
· Creating proposal graphics such as, but not limited to marketing graphics, organizational charts, labeling callouts to photo, etc.
· Working closely with senior management to create PowerPoint presentations for customer site visits.
· Participate in proposal team reviews as necessary.
· Participate in production team activities, including assisting with collating, binding, quality control initiatives, and boxing proposals as well as other proposal-related administrative tasks.
· Perform other content development or documentation-related projects as necessary to support business development activities.
· All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Extensive experience in Adobe FrameMaker 8 or later version and Microsoft Word is required.
