Job Description

We are looking for a young talented Desktop Publisher to join our Corporate Office in a leading US-based investment bank for high-level work. This important role should be well-presented and have the ability to deliver under tight schedules and pressure. This new unique role involves working with our senior executives to create/ develop high-density PowerPoint presentations and also pitch documents in print and electronic format for high-level management executives.

Responsibilities

· Work with the team leader and executives to ascertain scope of work/objectives and agree deliverables and timeframes

· Source imagery, develop and research concepts, design or work with existing layout templates, develop concepts

· Layout copy, tables and graphs of final bid submission documents

· Have custody of key documents through the editing/review/proofing stages

· Oversee final production of bid submission documents where required, including liaising with printers and other suppliers

· Create final PDF submission by consolidating various documents/components (covers, dividers and attachments etc)

· PowerPoint presentations, including ability to incorporate video into those presentations

· Other layout/design requests as required which may include development and production of flyers, brochures, advertisements and fact sheets

Requirements

· Degree/ Diploma holder with professional art/design training

· 3 years solid working experience in graphic design field, exposure with banking/ legal client preferred

· Excellent knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, intermediate Excel

· A Mac user; proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, Dreamweaver, Adobe Acrobat Pro and multimedia applications

· Excellent eye for layout and design essential and understanding of design principles and color

· Experience designing, developing and using templates

· Relevant experience working in a corporate in-house design/presentation/document preparation environment (investment banking or professional services experience highly regarded but not necessary)

· Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, even when working under tight schedules and pressure

· Adept at problem solving and a quick learner

· Preference for working in a fast paced environment

· Flexibility and tenacity regarding working hours

· Solid communication skills in English are a must. Open to native English speaker with graphic designing skills
