Desktop / Server Support Specialist
Desktop / Server Support Specialist required for my banking client based in London to work with a range of systems in a medium sized self-contained environment, working within the standards and policies of the larger enterprise.
Candidates will be required to be involved in:
- Management of desktop builds and deployment.
- Vulnerability and system update management for desktops, servers and network equipment.
- Collation of system reports.
- System monitoring and investigation of arising issues.
- Business continuity service testing and validation.
- End user account / system provisioning and support.
- Liaising with vendors to progress product support issues or to facilitate product development efforts.
The range of products that will be supported include, but not limited to: Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Windows Servers, Vmware ESXi, Symantec Enterprise Vault, RSA SecureID, GFI Languard, Vision Doubletake, Blackberry Enterprise Server, Bloomberg, Wall Street Office , Black Mountain Systems Everest, Microsoft and other standard desktop applications.
