Desktop Service Sales Representative
OVERVIEW OF POSITION:
As PTC’s Desktop Service Sales Representative, you will be responsible for winning profitable desktop training and consulting business by working independently or with PTC Global Services peers and PTC Sales. You will be expected to sustain and grow the desktop training and consulting business within your territory by educating the customer base about desktop offerings (both external and internal), identifying new opportunities, scoping and proposing training and consulting programs and closing the business.
Specific responsibilities include:
· Identify, cultivate, negotiate and close consulting and training opportunities in order to meet Desktop bookings and revenue quota for your territory
· Work closely with PTC ecosystem – Direct Sales, Inside Sales, Global Services Client Managers, Marketing – to build and manage a pipeline of training and consulting opportunities
· Articulate PTC University’s methodology and value proposition to instill confidence in our clients and be viewed by the client as the credible advisor for Desktop Services
· Build and maintain direct relationships with customers and take responsibility for their satisfaction following deployment of PTC University services
REQUIRED SKILLS EXPERIENCE:
· 3 years professional selling experience, ideally selling training or services
· Strong interpersonal, communication and organization skills
· Experience in the discrete manufacturing space and/or experience with CAD
· Ideally have an understanding of product development processes and challenges
· Highly motivated, goal-driven, proactive and persistent
· Fluent in English
· University degree
· Willingness to travel
