Responsibilities:
Our skilled Information Technology team in Pacific Northwest is looking for an analytical problem solver with advanced troubleshooting skills that will add expertise to our Redmond office. Your ability to consult with internal clients and solve problems will eliminate recurrences and reduce calls to the Help Desk. Your primary reponsibility will be Desktop Support but there will be secondary responsibilities including Server, Storage, and Backup Administration as well. Responsibilities will include:
- Advanced configuration/reconfiguration of hardware, including workstations and printers;
- Analyze and resolve end-user hardware, software and connectivity issues
- Manage, administrate and support Windows 2003 (including Active Directory) servers and their associated hardware and software;
- Create and update accurate and consistent records of all calls;
- Monitor progress on problem resolution and advise users on status of issue;
- Acquire and maintain current knowledge of relevant product offerings and support policies in order to provide technically accurate solutions to our internal clients; and
- Routine daily maintenance of network backups and network security.
