Desktop Support Analyst recruitment
Barclays Investment Banking Division is urgently requires a Desktop Support Analyst to support a number of the company’s sites in the southern region. You will be responsible for 2nd line desktop service issues in a multi domain environment which will include Windows XP and Windows 7, Active Directory, Office 2003/07, and Exchanges 5.5/2003/2007. You will be supporting the day to day work activities for the standard desktop services for all workstations and laptops, handling and resolving incident requests and liaising with 3rd line engineers where necessary. You will be supporting 5 main locations across London, providing 2nd line support via the phone, remote desktop, and at the customer’s workstation, investigating, diagnosing, and resolving where possible, maintaining a high level of customer service at all times. It is essential that you have a proven track record of Desktop Support and service delivery in an Investment Banking environment and can come in and 'hit the ground running'. You will have strong change and service management skills including creating and maintaining SLA’s and OLA’s, in a multi domain environment. You must also be MCP/MCSE (or equivalent) qualified, as well as being ITIL certified.
