Desktop Support Analyst/Manager. Leading services client is currently recruiting a desktop support analyst responsible for ensuring the highest levels of support service are delivered to users. The desktop support analyst will provide desktop, PC and laptop support, local network and infrastructure, including printing devices, telephone system and local servers, buidling pc's/laptops and providing 1st/2nd line support. The role will also involve stock ordering and management/administrative duties.
The desktop support analyst should have good experience working in a desktop support and service delivery environment, wiith good communication skills. Your technical knowledge should include a strong knowledge of Mmcrosoft Operating Systems such as Windows 2000 and Windows XP, some knowledge of Windows Server administration would be beneficial, such as 2003/8, AD/File and Print. Also a working knowledge of Network topologies and the hardware setup that supports them. The role will also involve purchasing of Laptops, PCs and phones against central contracts, stock recording and management, so good administrative skills are also requried.
The role is offering a basic salary of up to 28k, bonus, pension, healthcare, with good future potential and prospects.
