Full Job Description
Desktop Support Engineer (2nd Line Support Microsoft Windows Active Directory Office VMware Linux Red Hat IT Support) required by my financial client in Zug, Zurich, Switzerland. You MUST have the following experience:
-2+ years Microsoft IT Support - helpdesk and desktop
-Microsoft Active Directory user administration
-TCP/IP networking
- DHCP/DNS
The following would be DESRIABLE:
-Experience with VMware
-Linux/Unix (Red Hat, Solaris, Suse, Ubuntu)
-Banking or Finance
-Windows Server 2008
-ITIL
-Microsoft Certifications
-German
Role: You will be working in a team of two desktop support (2nd line) engineers supporting a local office of 90 users for this financial company in Zurich, Switzerland. You will be mentored and trained, exposed to software upgrade projects and encouraged to progress into other areas within the IT department. You will be working with Microsoft Windows, VMware and Linux Red Hat. This is an excellent, exciting, growing financial company with a good cosmopolitan work force. You will be:
-Articulate with technical and non-technical colleagues
-Motivated to progress and develop
Salary: CHF80k-100k (£53k-£66k) + 25-40% Bonus
