Job Description Job Classification: Contract Our customer in Owings Mills, MD has an immediate need for a seasoned desktop support technician. This person will be responsible for troubleshooting user related issues related to Microsoft software, hardware, blackberry troubleshooting and configuration, re-imaging new pcs running Windows 7, and distribution of Cisco Phone Equipment. TOP Three Skills: 1. Demonstrated Strong Customer Service Skills (everyday interaction with customers, in person or on phone (plant to CEO) This a Key success factor at our customer. 2. Windows XP: 3-4 yrs end-user support able to handle complex workstation issues (Windows 7 would be helpful) 3. Lenovo laptop desktops, HP Printers performing HW support and installations Ideally this person should have about 4 years of demonstrated desktop support experience supporting/troubleshooting Windows XP, Lotus Notes 6.5, SAP, Windows 7 as well as hardware related issues. They will also be responsible for some Communications Support that would include Minor VOIP phone troubleshooting and IMAC's with Cisco Phones. Our customer uses "dame ware" for remote support and Peregrine for incident management. This person should have excellent troubleshooting as well as strong customer service skills.
