Desktop Support Technician

Candidates must be local to the Cincinnati area, have provided desk side support in a corporate environment and have excellent customer service skills.

 

Responsibilities:

           Performs general maintenance tasks, troubleshoots and repairs computer systems and peripheral equipment throughout the organization

           Includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all PC hardware and equipment while ensuring optimal workstation performance

           Identifies, researches and resolves technical problems

           Work with Management and third party hardware/software vendors to ensure equipment and software effective solutions are best to meet the customer requirements

 

Qualifications:

           2 years+ experience with desk side support in a corporate environment

           Proficient with Microsoft Operating System’s and Suites

           Excellent customer service skills required

           Nice to have – Mobile device (blackberry, windows mobile, etc..) support experience

           Nice to have – Basic telecom / networking skills

           Nice to have – Active Directory and / or SMS experience

           Nice to have – Experience with tablet computers

           Bachelor’s degree or one-three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

           Minimum 2 years’ experience networking in the TCP/IP LAN/WAN environment desired

           Experience supporting of retail environments desired

           Experience supporting mobile devices (Blackberry, Android, Windows Mobile, Aircards, etc...) desired

           Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook

 

PLEASE NOTE: Candidates with only helpdesk experience, zero experience in a corporate environment, or someone that is more skilled in the server support environment will NOT be considered.

 

Background Checks    Drug Screen: 

           Within 24-48 hours of accepting a contingent offer of employment, all candidates will be required to take a Drug test. In addition, a detailed Criminal Background check will be conducted and used as a screening tool as permitted by law. Also, an Education verification will be conducted. 

           No final offer of employment will be extended unless the candidate is able to pass this Drug Screening, Background Check and Education verification process.  Only serious candidates who do not believe that negative results will be indicated need apply.  EOE.
