We are currently working with a leading equities hedge fund, who are looking for a desktop support engineer to join their growing team. They are based in London with their analytical research team based in Liverpool where they are seeking a desktop support engineer to join their fast paced environment.
As the technical support engineer you will be working across leading infrastructure and financial platforms, as well as supporting a full Microsoft application suite. As the desktop support engineer you will have the chance to travel to their London office once a month to get more involved with the whole team.
This is a great chance to support the financial analysts in a fast paced environment with industry leading technology that would enable you to gain experience within the financial market, within a small high level technical team, for a company that invest a large amount into technology. To be considered for the role of Desktop Support/Technical Support Engineer (Windows XP/2007, Active Directory, Blackberry/IOS, Bloomberg, Financial Technology) - you will need skills and experience within the following:
* Experience within desktop support is essential
* You will have worked with Windows based technologies such as Windows XP and / or Windows 7
* Experience with mobile software such as Blackberry / IOS handheld devices
* Any experience with market data feeds such as Bloomberg/Datastream/Fidessa would be an advantage
