My client is seeking a desktop/desk-side support technician that can help provide excellent customer service to the employees. Heavy experience with audio and visual equipment is a must, particularly setting up meetings
with WebEx. The company is a cutting edge bio technology firm that has an outstanding work environment
Responsibilities:
• Review and support requests through queue monitoring on a regular basis throughout the day
• Provide and ensure prompt status communication to end-users regarding support requests
• Perform resolution of Tier II/III response support requests
• Prioritize and track action items and issues relating to support requests ensuring SLA’s are being met and with high customer satisfaction targets
• Provide support to end-users to facilitate problem resolution; Work with staff to ensure quality and expectations for standards are met
• Ensure adherence to established company policies and processes
• Office administration duties as assigned by IT Management
• Diagnose and repair hardware, software, printers and systems failures
• Support meetings incorporating the use of video conferencing and WebEX technologies
Preferred Experiential Background:
• 3-5 years’ experience of relevant experience, preferably in a Deskside service role
• Experience with common help desk tool for Incident/problem tracking
• Knowledge of the Internet and the associated technology and architecture
• Uncompromising Customer Service focus
• Proactive and driven approach to understanding business requirements
• Good communication and presentation skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Proficiency with PC applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Windows 7
• Basic understanding of AV equipment
• Experience with HP and Konica copiers is a plus.
• Associate Degree or equivalent in Business, Technology or related field required.
Duration: 8 Months+ Contract
