Desktop Technical Lead
Technical Analysis, Analyst - Dell Inc.
Dell Inc. is a global provider of information technology solutions. We are currently looking for a Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Louisville, KY.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Collaborate as part of a technical team to develop process and standards to drive key business deliverables, improve customer satisfaction, and meet account support goals
- Assist in the development and execution of project plans to define sequence of events and identify project risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies to meet project objectives.
- Works on assignments as assigned under the established guidelines.
- Regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment on business matters
- Assists Sr. Associates with issue resolution
- Establish a working relationship with key business stakeholders to assist in fulfilling requests and monitor performance against customer expectations
- Participate in On Call support.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of experience supporting Desktop/Laptop/Tablet Hardware and multiple Enterprise Applications in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to identify issues beyond stated situation and determine the best course of action to resolve
- Experience with asset management, configuration management and software distribution
- Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
- Ability to handle complex projects with challenging deadlines
- Ability to think and work independently to resolve business problems within the organization using established processes, procedures and standards
- Current experience in support and deployment of systems including Microsoft operating systems, network applications, wireless devices and related technologies. Understand the enterprise interrelation of IT components
- Experience with developing and implementing Desktop Security policies
- Knowledge of LAN and VPN Technologies
- Knowledge of SCCM
- Knowledge of Symantec Antivirus implementation and support
- Knowledge of Desktop Encryption (Symantec and/or Guardian Edge)
- Working knowledge of ITIL fundamentals
- Experience supporting Citrix connectivity issues from a Desktop/Laptop perspective
- Experience supporting Tablets (Windows based, Android and IPAD)
- Experience with Remedy ticketing system
- Microsoft Certification
- A+ Certification
Minimum Educational Requirements:
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- Microsoft
