Developer
Specifically looking for a developer with the following skills:
- NOMAD (essential)
- VM platfrom experience (essential)
- Mark IV
Essential:
• Strong experience as a programmer, analyst/designer in a financial development environment
• Midrange experience – VM, NOMAD, Mark IV, COBOL JCL technical skills
• A solid understanding of structured analysis techniques
• Good knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel)
• Must be able to work under pressure, juggle multiple projects, use own initiative and motivation to meet deadlines and set priorities without close supervision
• Attention to detail and accuracy are essential. Must be pro-active, enthusiastic, flexible, and results driven.
• Excellent spoken and written English, clear oral communication skills. Must be willing and able to express new ideas, concerns and opinions directly to wider teams in team meetings via teleconference.
• Calm under pressure.
• Experience in using software configuration management systems (e.g. Perforce)
Desirable:
• Experience of Treasury, Payments and GL
• Experience of international payments clearings and the technology used to process payments (SWIFT etc)
• Experience with Agile / eXtreme Programming project methodologies
• Experience in working with colleagues in other locations
