Developer – Greenfield projects, Hedge fund recruitment
The technology in place is cutting edge and the developer will be working on software at enterprise level. These are high profile projects that integrate with existing systems, yet the design and implementation of these projects will be driven by the successful candidate.
As well as working within a team that is vital to the success of the firm, the role allows for a high degree of autonomy; controlling the direction of the projects and interacting with different business areas. You will take control of the direction of your projects, and will also regularly interact with professionals within diverse areas of the business.
The ideal candidate will:
• Be able to write robust software that can be used in a live trading environment
• Be able to design, build and deliver well architected systems which will be used across different teams
• Have experience with both server and client side components, often with a GUI element.
• An appreciation of good software architecture and core algorithms data structures.
• An excellent academic record – good A-level results combined with a degree in Computer Science.
Technical requirements
• OOP (C# or Java etc)
• Silverlight, WPF or similar UI platforms
• Relational Database experience (SQL)
• Experience of WCF and Tibco Rendezvous may also be beneficial.
