Hi-Tech software firm, specialising in market leading development across various industries are now looking to bring on a senior developer as the company continues to grow at a rapid pace. This company has been regarded by national newspapers as a company to watch out for in 2012, as they continue to excel in providing high quality, technological solutions to complex client problems.
The ideal candidate would be skilled across a number of different programming languages and development principles from Object Oriented and Functional Programming through to Agile working methodologies. Java or C# and Python are the principle coding languages and any experience in functional or mathematical languages (F# / Haskell / MATLAB / Latex / Scala) are of great benefit.
Successful candidates will be part of an exciting technology firm, in an academically, research-driven environment, working on a number of key projects with clients from different industries. Furthermore, each developer will effectively be their own Project Manager and Business Analyst – taking responsibility and ownership of their projects from inception through to completion.
Requirements
- Bachelors in Computational / Numerical / Scientific field – Masters and PhD even better!
- Experience having developed software in Java or C# (cross platform Linux / UNIX / Windows)
- Scripting in Python / Perl / Bash / Ruby
- Functional Languages F# / R / Matlab / Haskell / Scala
