Duties and Accountabilities
Implementation of financial data software and website development using Java, GWT and Oracle technologies, working within a team of 15 developers; hands on development in Java, GWT and Oracle for Markit Indices system
Education and Experience
• The right candidate will have a very strong academic degree or equivalent background in a numerate discipline.
• Solid proven track record in professional programming.
• Substantial Java/J2EE design and implementation experience is essential, including Object Oriented Design Patterns.
• Experience with GWT would be preferred
• Strong experience with an enterprise-grade relational database management system, preferably Oracle, including expert level SQL and E-R design.
• The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable track record actively contributing to the implementation of innovative, best-practice-based, technical solutions in a complex and challenging environment.
Financial services experience is a plus
